This instrument was invented by Suleymen Suat Sezgin in Eskisehir
in the 1930s, though there is another similar instrument called
Cumbus.
It's intended to have a playing technique much like the ud, the
fretless lute of the Middle East, but with a banjo like head and
a large spun-aluminium resonator.
